Mainframe Batch / Production Control Analyst
Experience: 2–5 years
Schedule and manage mainframe & distributed batch jobs using BMC Control-M/Enterprise Manager (EM) and maintain job calendars.
Monitor AJF batch workloads, identify and resolve common ABENDs using JCL, and troubleshoot job issues using TSO/ISPF.
Analyze alerts/shout messages, assess severity, follow escalation procedures, and ensure SLA compliance.
Document incidents and tasks in ServiceNow and communicate issues clearly to support teams and management.
Utilize monitoring tools such as Nagios, IP Monitor, and Tivoli to identify server problems.
Required Skills: Control-M/EM, JCL, TSO/ISPF, Mainframe Batch, ABEND Resolution, AJF, ServiceNow, Nagios/IP Monitor/Tivoli, strong written & verbal communication.
