Our boutique law firm focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, Guardianship, and Trust Administration throughout Florida. We are looking for a dedicated Probate Paralegal to join our team long-term.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a remote environment and is confident managing Florida probate matters independently with limited attorney supervision .
Responsibilities
- Draft and review probate pleadings and related filings
- Manage client communication and maintain organized case files
- Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and similar tools
- File pleadings through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
- Support attorneys with litigation and trial preparation as needed
- Assist with general administrative tasks when needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of Florida probate (wills & trusts) experience
- Strong understanding of Florida Probate Code and Rules
- Experience drafting and filing probate pleadings
- Familiarity with Clio Manage (preferred) or similar systems
- Experience with LexisNexis or similar research tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience with trust administrations or guardianships
- Familiarity with LexisNexis automated forms
- Experience working with a remote team
- Comfortable with recording real time spent in a matter
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Florida Notary
