Private Equity Associate, AI Residency (Part-time) | Applied AI x Corporate Finance

About this role: You'll work directly on improving how Frontier AI handles corporate finance and gain rare, early exposure to how AI labs actually develop their models.

As part of the project, you will contribute your private equity deal execution experience to a structured research project used to help improve AI reasoning across investment banking and capital markets. The work involves generating, refining, and evaluating content that reflects how PE professionals think through LBO transactions, valuation, and deal execution from origination through close.

What we're looking for:

• 3–7 years of experience in private equity at a recognized fund with genuine deal execution responsibility

• Associate level with hands-on LBO modeling, IC materials, and closed transaction experience

• Deep expertise in deal structuring, leveraged buyout analysis, and value creation planning

• Strong financial modeling skills (incl. LBO, DCF, returns analysis) and comfort with IC memos, investment theses, and deal documentation

• Ability to articulate private equity and transaction judgment clearly and precisely in writing

Project Info (Requirements):

• Commitment: 20+ hours/week, flexible scheduling

• Location: Fully remote

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
