Get to know us better

CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms. We create proofs-of-concept, help our clients build new products, nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. Our clients include both tech startups and big players in various industries and geographic locations (US, Japan, Israel, Europe).

While no longer a startup - we have 250+ people on board and have been operating since 2011 we’ve kept our people-oriented culture. Our values are simple:

  • Act to deliver.

  • Disrupt to grow.

  • Team up to win.

The project and the team

For 15 years, we've built networking software for the companies that make networking products. Now we're taking that to enterprise end clients who need their office, campus, branch, edge, and wide-area networks modernized and integrated. Our Business Development Managers find and own those accounts. You're the technical lead who helps them win: picking the offering to lead with, building the decks, shaping the solution, and joining the call when it gets technical.

Networking is the core of what we do, not a side skill. SDN, SD-WAN, automation and orchestration, BGP, and EVPN/VXLAN are daily business. When a client needs software that doesn't exist off the shelf, we build it in source code instead of reselling someone else's product.

What else you should know:

  • Our Business Development Managers run the accounts and hold the client relationship. Your job is to make them strong in technical conversations: the right offering to pitch, the decks, the client profile, and the architecture behind it.

  • The buyers you'll face are CIOs, VPs of Infrastructure and Networking, and Heads of NetOps. You translate their operational headaches into something we can actually build and run.

  • Day to day, you're with U.S. GTM leadership and our engineers. The clients sit mostly in Silicon Valley; the build happens in Warsaw.

We work on several projects at once, so we may invite you to talk about a different one if your profile fits it better.

Your role

As part of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Being the technical lead on deals, giving the Business Development Managers a clear line on what to pitch and how to land it.

  • Owning the toolkit the rest of GTM leans on: offering decks, solution write-ups, reusable reference patterns.

  • Working out which enterprise-network clients are worth chasing, and sanity-checking the deals that land.

  • Leading discovery and architecture workshops with the BDM, tying automation, orchestration, SD-WAN, and AIOps to what actually hurts the client: slow provisioning, risky changes, alert fatigue, multi-vendor sprawl.

  • Carrying proposals, SOWs, and commercial strategy through to signature.

  • Steering the hands-on work across SDN, SD-WAN, Netconf/YANG, Terraform, Ansible, Python/Go, Kubernetes networking, OpenTelemetry, event-driven automation, and AIOps (event correlation, anomaly detection, automated RCA).

How we'll know it's working:

  • The sellers are using your decks and profiles in front of clients, not leaving them in a folder.

  • A bigger share of their deals makes it from first call to signed work.

  • Discovery turns into a signed SOW faster than it used to.

  • Senior buyers (CIOs, VPs of Networking, Heads of NetOps) trust you in the room, which opens doors for the BDMs.

  • The patterns and offerings you build keep getting reused on the next deal.

Do we have a match?

As a Solutions Architect, you must meet the following criteria:

  • 10+ years in enterprise networking, networking software, automation, or platform engineering.

  • A real pre-sales or solutions-architecture track record. You've carried technical deals from first call to close.

  • Hands-on experience building or selling networking solutions. You've architected real campus, branch, edge, or WAN environments, or the software that runs them.

  • You can run discovery workshops, pull out the requirements, and write up what follows: statements of work, timelines, and effort estimates.

  • You can build and demo a proof-of-concept, ideally with automation tooling (Python, Ansible, Terraform).

  • Strong working knowledge of several of: SDN, SD-WAN, campus/branch/edge architectures, routing and switching, Kubernetes networking, Terraform, Ansible, Python/Go, Netconf/YANG, OpenTelemetry, cloud and multi-cloud networking, AIOps platforms, CI/CD automation.

  • A grasp of enterprise network operations pain and long technical sales cycles.

  • Strong workshop and presentation skills, credible with both engineering and operations leaders.

  • Fluent English, B2 or above.

  • Fine working flexible hours, including afternoon and evening calls with US clients

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:

  • Time spent at a networking or cloud-native infrastructure vendor (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Ericsson, VMware/Broadcom, Red Hat, HashiCorp, Palo Alto Networks, Dell, IBM, HPE, or similar).

  • A history of building reusable offerings or reference architectures.

  • Experience working alongside sales or business development as the technical lead, arming them with decks, profiles, and pitches.
