Principal Platform Product Engineer (remote)

This is a remote role open for multiple markets across the United States.

Senior technical leader for Product & Experience. Responsible for platform architecture, engineering standards, integration patterns, developer experience design, service catalog architecture, golden path engineering, platform extensibility, and enterprise IDP capabilities. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate is a deep platform architect who has designed scalable developer platforms, integration ecosystems, and reusable engineering experiences across large enterprises.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Technical Hands-On Leader of Cloud Teams OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Technical Hands-On Leader of Cloud Teams

• 8+ years systems engineering or platform engineering
• Enterprise architecture leadership; integration architecture; mentoring senior engineers
• IDP Architecture

• Platform APIs
• GitOps
• IaC
• Platform Automation
• Integration Architecture

Preferred Skills 

Event-driven architecture, Cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Observability, Policy-as-Code, AI-enabled engineering. 

Platform Integration Experience 

Design patterns for SCM, CI/CD, cloud, automation, security, observability, identity and ITSM integrations.

The base pay for this position is generally between $170,000 and $199,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
