The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring for a part-time Principal Advisor in support of U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). This is a remote position.


Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on a part-time basis to SSP in the areas of Military Construction (MILCON) and Facility Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) contract guidance and interpretation. This position will support SSP with Subject Matter Expertise on construction contract planning, writing, and execution. This includes advising clients in the development of requirements for and the administration of contracts both pre and post award. This is a remote position which may require some travel.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active SECRET Clearance.
  • Master's Degree in Government Contract Management and Administration.
  • 15+ years of contracts experience working with OPNAV, CNIC, and/or NAVFAC requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Senior Leadership experience at NAVFAC.
