Podcast Producer & Content Creator
π Remote | Philippines-based
Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week.
A founder-led Australian startup community wants to level up its podcast and content. You will own the creative direction. We will back you to run with it.
Life After Launch is the podcast for Aussie Founders Club - a founder-first community of 2,000+ operators (in slack) and 4,600+ newsletter subscribers built around what's real in startup life. The podcast is interview-based, co-hosted by Megan Luttrell and Geo George, and built for the founders and operators who want to hear what building in Australia actually looks like.
Six to seven episodes are in the works. The goal is weekly. The production needs to get there.
The role
This is not a post-production job. You will own the creative output of Life After Launch and AFC's broader social presence - the production standard, the visual identity, and the content strategy behind how it all gets distributed.
You will come in, audit what exists, and pitch how to improve it. From there, you build the workflows, set the cadence, and run the operation. Direction and approval from Megan at the start - then real autonomy as trust builds.
The right person has a strong point of view, the craft to back it, and the confidence to tell us when something could be better.
What you'll do
Own end-to-end production of Life After Launch - raw interview to published episode, weekly
Audit the current episodes and pitch a clear production upgrade across audio, structure, pacing, and visual identity
Edit podcast content into short-form video for LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram
Edit AFC meetup recordings, vox pops, and employer brand videos
Build and manage the content calendar and posting rhythm across platforms
Write captions and handle publishing
Develop the content strategy for how podcast content gets distributed and repurposed
Build the brief-to-publish workflow so the operation runs without constant back-and-forth
What we're looking for
Proven podcast production experience - you can show your work and talk through what you improved
Strong video editing skills across short and long-form content
A real creative eye and the confidence to pitch your own direction
Comfortable owning a creative output end-to-end - you do not need to be told what comes next
Detail-oriented across audio, pacing, captions, and visual consistency
Strong communicator - you flag issues early and you meet deadlines
