The Role

Front-line operations role ensuring stability, monitoring, and incident handling across production platform and live games.

Reporting Line

Platform & Games Operations Specialist → Platform and Games Operations Lead

Key Objectives

  • Maintain stable, predictable platform and live game operations

  • Detect and escalate operational issues early

  • Support rapid, consistent incident response

  • Reduce operational risk; prevent repeat issues

  • Maintain high visibility of platform and game health

  • Ensure onboarding is monitored, controlled, and tracked

  • Detect early risks during onboarding and go-live


Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring & Operational Support

  • Monitor platform systems infrastructure and live games performance via observability tools

  • Detect anomalies in performance, gameplay, payouts, or behavior

  • Maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring coverage

  1. Incident Detection & Coordination

  • Identify and escalate incidents by severity

  • Support incident coordination, investigation (QA), and resolution

  • Ensure tracking, documentation, and communication

  1. Operational Discipline & Controls

  • Follow procedures, runbooks, and escalation paths

  • Support configuration validation and operational checks

  • Assist operational readiness for releases and launches

  1. Risk & Issue Visibility

  • Flag emerging risks and abnormal behaviors (bug exploitation, security risks...)

  • Support root cause investigations and post-incident reviews

  • Identify repeat or systemic issues

  1. Operator Onboarding

  • Monitor onboarding and validate readiness signals

  • Track milestones, risks, and go-live technical checkpoints

  • Support incident detection during early lifecycle

  • Ensure documentation, checklists, and procedures are followed

  1. Continuous Improvement

  • Improve monitoring, automation, and tooling

  • Strengthen operational standards and playbooks

  • Enhance early detection and response

  • Time to detect and escalate incidents

  • Accuracy and completeness of monitoring

  • Reduced incident severity through early detection

  • Fewer repeat or preventable issues

  • Responsiveness and adherence to procedures
