My responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based platforms on Azure or SAP BTP
- Build and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation
- Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, deploy, and release processes
- Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, networking, and compliance controls
- Collaborate with development teams to provide self-service platform capabilities
- Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency and performance
- Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or BTP Kyma) and Docker
- Maintain platform documentation, standards, and reusable components
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues
The knowledge I own:
- 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of networking concepts, security, and identity management
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Automation mindset and focus on scalability
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
