Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Payroll Functional Consultant to support a Payroll Transformation project covering multiple countries across EMEA and APAC.

The consultant will be responsible for analyzing, redesigning, and resolving business process issues related to payroll, benefits, and vendor integrations. The role requires strong PeopleSoft functional expertise along with sufficient technical understanding to collaborate effectively with developers, vendors, and business users.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing payroll and benefits processes and identify opportunities for improvement or remediation.
  

• Redesign and resolve business process issues involving vendor integrations across multiple EMEA and APAC countries.
  

• Configure and support PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll & Benefits (HCM) functionality.
  

• Analyze integration requirements and coordinate interfaces between PeopleSoft and external/vendor systems.
  

• Work closely with vendors, developers, business users, and other stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  

• Prepare detailed functional/design documents, test scripts, test scenarios, and test plans.
  

• Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
  

• Use SQL for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  

• Review and evaluate technical solutions together with PeopleSoft developers.
  

• Support issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution during implementation and testing.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of relevant PeopleSoft HCM experience.
  

• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll & Benefits.
  

• Strong understanding of payroll processes and configurations.
  

• Experience with PeopleSoft integrations and third-party/vendor integrations.
  

• Good knowledge of SQL for analysis and troubleshooting.
  

• Experience working on payroll implementations, transformations, enhancements, or support projects.
  

• Strong experience preparing design documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and test plans.
  

• Understanding of the technical components of PeopleSoft, including:
  

• Application Engine
  

• SQR
  

• Interfaces and integrations
  

• Other relevant PeopleSoft technical components
  

• Ability to evaluate technical solutions and work collaboratively with developers.
  

• Strong coordination and communication skills for working with vendors, developers, business users, and cross-functional teams.
  

• Experience supporting multi-country environments, preferably across EMEA and APAC, is highly desirable.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Candidate will be required to undergo Background Verification (BGV) as part of the onboarding process.
