Flexible, part-time opportunity for experienced engineering professionals. We are seeking qualified HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineers to support our development of company master specifications. This role is ideal for experienced engineers, semi-retired professionals, or consultants looking for meaningful part-time work approximately 2–3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with drafting, updating, and maintaining company master specifications. (Specpoint Software).
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to improve document quality and consistency.
Qualifications
Professional experience in MEP engineering design including specific experience with large, technical, & complex projects in mission critical and laboratory design.
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, codes, coordination practices, and QA/QC review processes.
Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with internal project teams.
Prior experience developing or reviewing master specifications is preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
Schedule and Work Arrangement This is a part-time role requiring approximately 2–3 days per week, with flexibility based on project needs and candidate availability. Remote, hybrid, or in-office arrangements may be considered depending on the candidate’s location and the nature of the work.
