Utopia is an ultra-luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand creating a global ecosystem of properties and experiences.

We develop private villa retreats in beautiful locations around the world, each with high-end service. Utopia also offers a wider ecosystem of leisure experiences and services available both to those staying on property and to external visitors.

Utopia designs and builds its properties in-house. Our projects span the full journey: from concept and architecture to construction, interiors, landscape, guest experience, and long-term operation. For architects and designers, this means contributing on properties from the ground up, with the ability to influence how each place is planned, built, and experienced. For hospitality professionals, it means collaborating with a brand where service is personal, attentive, and built around each guest’s stay.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking specifically for a native English speaker. For a brand like ours, the writing has to feel effortless - every page should read like it was written by someone who simply gets the language, not translated or approximated. You'll take ownership of the site's copy: keeping it fresh, on-brand, and consistent, so we can move faster without waiting on an agency every time something needs updating.

You won't be starting from a blank page: our tone of voice guide and brand strategy are already in place, so you'll have a clear foundation to build on rather than having to define the brand's voice from scratch. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Writing and editing website copy in English, staying true to Utopia's tone of voice
• Putting together SEO metadata — meta titles, descriptions, OG text, image alt text
• Keeping copy consistent across pages
• Making sure everything published is accurate and up to date
• Writing social media copy across our channels once they launch
• Potentially helping rework internal operational documents — including our General SOP
• Helping develop basic communication guidelines for the team

Requirements

Must have:

• Native-level English proficiency and excellent writing skills.
• Background in copywriting and/or editorial work

Nice to have:

• Experience in luxury or hospitality, and a feel for premium/lifestyle tone of voice
• Basic understanding of SEO and AEO
• An eye for detail
• A basic sense of visual/design sensibility
