Core Responsibilities
- Assisting attorneys in all phases of litigation and case management.
- Creating case reports, summaries, and legal documents tailored to specific case documentation.
- Preparing professional correspondence and basic legal motions.
- Scheduling prehearing conferences, hearings, and settlement conferences.
- Coordinating and scheduling independent medical examinations and appointments.
- Organizing file materials and indexing voluminous medical records chronologically.
- Managing the firm's docketing and calendaring systems to track critical litigation deadlines and events.
- Communicating proactively with supervising attorneys regarding task statuses and case updates.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience in workers' compensation defense is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office (specifically Word) and Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Legal Tech: Experience with case management billing tools like Centerbase and NetDocs is beneficial but not required.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree or a Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 / year (commensurate with experience).
