Phone Bank Organizer / Remote Outreach Associate
Duties & Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to voters and community members using a structured script and conversation flow related to the voting process and endorsed candidates, issues, or civic participation
Meet or exceed daily performance goals, including dials, live conversations, and support or engagement benchmarks
Participate in required trainings, briefings, and staff meetings
Accurately document call outcomes, voter responses, and required data in the database
Report daily call results clearly and on time
Identify and document challenges encountered during calls and participate in discussions around solutions and improvements
Track and share successful approaches, messaging, and techniques with team members
Adjust work habits and outreach strategies based on coaching, metrics, and performance feedback
Maintain a high level of professionalism, focus, and reliability during scheduled shifts
Demonstrate strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a βready to workβ mindset
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Ability to operate a laptop or desktop computer and navigate Google Chrome, Zoom, and web-based platforms
Ability to independently troubleshoot basic technical issues, including internet connectivity, hotspots, frozen screens, and logging back into systems
Comfort using a web-based dialer system, including logging in/out and navigating between screens
Familiarity with using laptops or tablets to record and submit data accurately
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week; schedules may include evenings and weekends and may vary by program
Passion for and commitment to social, civic, and political change in Texas
Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and listening skills
Ability to maintain structured, respectful conversations with diverse audiences
Ability to work independently while contributing to a highly organized team environment
Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve performance
Ability to work entire shifts without set breaks
