About the Role (Job Purpose)

This role will bridge the gap between design, sourcing/purchasing, and engineering on-site. This includes tracking hardware requisitions (servers, generators, racks, etc.) to ensure they arrive when needed without disrupting deployment timelines. This will also include quality checks and audits to ensure the delivered materials match the purchase orders and engineering specifications.

You will partner with Sourcing, Supply Chain Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Suppliers/Vendors to ensure that all project-related materials are validated, ordered, tracked, and delivered in line with business requirements.

This is a high-impact role for someone who combines operational discipline with strong commercial awareness, thrives in complexity, and can drive execution independently in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll be Doing (Responsibilities)

• Requisition Management: validating requests, approving orders, and ensuring all purchase orders match engineering specifications for our facilities.

• Project Fulfillment: Tracking orders for on-time delivery; work to manage and mitigate delivery disruptions for long-lead procurements.

• Logistics: Monitoring inbound deliveries, inventory management, and final distribution to each datacenter site.

• Supplier/Vendor Partnership: Serve as a point of contact between vendors, 3PLs, and procurement/sourcing teams.

About You (Skills / Qualifications)

• Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business, plus at least 5 years of experience in procurement or logistics, preferably in AI or Datacenter tech environments.

• Key Skills:

◦ Expert in contract management and quality reviews.

◦ Expert in managing logistics and deliveries, including ability to mitigate potential delays before they occur.

◦ Strong analytical problem solving skills

◦ Demonstrated ability to manage strict asset-tracking protocols for thousands of servers, network switches, and fiber optic components.

◦ Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous records of asset receipt to ensure compliance for cross-functional teams.
