About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Xstore Developer to join our retail technology team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions that power retail operations. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable POS enhancements, integrate enterprise systems, and ensure the stability and performance of business-critical retail applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Oracle Xstore expertise, Java development experience, and a solid understanding of retail point-of-sale systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, customize, and enhance Oracle Retail Xstore POS applications.

• Develop and maintain solutions using Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle technologies.

• Integrate Oracle Xstore with enterprise applications and third-party systems through APIs and web services.

• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Support testing, deployment, and release management activities.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows best practices.

• Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing application enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions.

• Strong experience with Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle databases.

• Experience integrating Oracle Xstore with external applications using APIs and web services.

• Solid understanding of retail POS workflows and store operations.

• Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting enterprise retail applications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Retail Suite products.

• Knowledge of retail enterprise architecture.

• Experience with release management and deployment processes.

• Exposure to cloud-based retail solutions is a plus.
