The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of OCI native services, container orchestration, and a passion for optimizing cloud performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

● Design, provision, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using computer, networking, and storage services.

● Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or Ansible to ensure consistent, version-controlled environment configurations.

● Configure and optimize Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) clusters and containerized applications using Docker.

● Manage network architecture within OCI, including Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, load balancers, security lists, and VPN/FastConnect integrations. CI/CD & Deployment Operations

● Manage OCI security features, including OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Zones, Cloud Guard, and OCI Vault for robust key and secret management.

● Establish and maintain comprehensive logging, alerting, and observability platforms (using OCI native monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack).

● Lead incident response, troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks, and conduct root-cause analyses for production issues. Collaboration & Strategy

● Partner closely with software engineers, QA, and security teams to align technical initiatives, reduce handoff friction, and establish enterprise-wide operational guidelines.

● Maintain accurate technical documentation for deployment standards, operational runbooks, and automation workflows.

Required Qualifications

● Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role, with demonstrable hands-on experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

● Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or CloudFormation.

● Containerization: Strong practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (specifically Oracle Kubernetes Engine - OKE).

● CI/CD Tooling: Experience designing automated deployment pipelines using OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms.

● Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

● OS & Networking: Deep understanding of Linux/Unix administration, TCP/IP, DNS, and fundamental cloud networking concepts (VCNs, firewalls, load balancing).

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
