We are looking for an offshore operation production planner with practical experience. The candidate will be responsible for managing the production scheduling, capacity planning, and material tracking of outsourced testing and assembly factories.
The successful candidate will serve as connective link across the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring that materials, inventory, and finished goods flow efficiently from suppliers to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Supply Chain and Finance on S&OP process to ensure products are delivered on time and in full to end customer.
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasts, customer orders and inventory levels.
- Plan and release purchase orders, build instructions and drop ship requirements to suppliers to meet customer demand and maintain buffer stocks.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), inventory levels and lead times of all material, including substrates, lead frames & purchased known-good-die, to prevent shortages or excess stock and optimize on-time delivery (OTD) to the customer.
- In case of tight supply, work closely with supplier to ensure any schedule changes or delays are addressed effectively.
- Support new product introductions by coordinating trial runs and ramp-up schedules.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations
- Track and present key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, capacity allocation achieve rate.
Education and Key Skills
- 1-2 years experience in production planning, scheduling or supply chain operations.
- Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing
with Foundry, Assembly and Test process flow.
- Fluent in English communication. (TOEIC score above 700 or equivalent certification).
- Good understanding of MRP, inventory management, and supply chain.
- Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional and supplier engagement
- Experience with ERP systems, e.g. SAP.
