1. Business Analysis & Process Mapping
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across different departments.
Translate business requirements into standardized workflows within Odoo.
Identify opportunities for process optimization while minimizing custom development.
2. Odoo System Configuration & Implementation
Configure and implement core Odoo modules, including Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Products.
Customize system settings and workflows to align with business operations.
Ensure seamless integration and data consistency across Odoo modules.
3. Master Data Management & Migration
Manage the preparation, cleansing, validation, and migration of master data.
Handle data migration for charts of accounts, customers, vendors, products, and opening balances.
Perform data imports using Excel/CSV files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Identify and resolve data import errors and inconsistencies.
4. System Testing & Solution Delivery
Conduct end-to-end testing of business processes and ERP workflows.
Validate accounting entries, inventory transactions, and integration between modules.
Identify system issues, troubleshoot functional errors, and ensure successful implementation.
5. User Training & Go-Live Support
Conduct training sessions for end users across relevant departments.
Develop user manuals, process documentation, and training materials.
Provide functional support during system deployment and go-live.
Troubleshoot functional issues and ensure smooth system adoption.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, with proven involvement in Odoo ERP implementation projects.
Odoo Expertise: Strong knowledge of recent Odoo versions, particularly Odoo 18 and 19.
Functional Modules: Proven experience configuring and implementing Odoo Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Product Management modules.
Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, charts of accounts, accounting cycles, taxation, inventory valuation, and financial transactions.
Business Process Understanding: Strong knowledge of end-to-end business workflows and integration between accounting, sales, purchasing, and inventory operations.
Odoo Studio: Proficiency in using Odoo Studio for standard system customization, report configuration, and workflow adjustments.
Data Migration: Hands-on experience in master data preparation, Excel/CSV imports, data validation, and troubleshooting import-related issues.
Testing & Implementation: Practical experience in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live preparation, and post-implementation support.
