Job Summary

The Cancer Outcomes Research and Education department is seeking a Registered Nurse Research Interventionist to facilitate the delivery of a Supportive Care research intervention. The interventionist will lead a virtual supportive care program for patients with Triple-negative breast cancer who are transitioning to surveillance.
Responsibilities include leading small‑group sessions focused on psychoeducation, coping with fear of cancer recurrence, stress management, mindfulness, and basic cognitive‑behavioral strategies, in accordance with the study protocol.
Prior experience in oncology, psychosocial care, or group‑based interventions is preferred.
Summary
Responsible for leading and conducting research projects to advance nursing knowledge, improve patient care outcomes, and contribute to evidence-based practices. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.

Essential Functions
Lead and manage nursing research projects from conceptualization to completion.
-Develop research protocols, design data collection methods, and create project timelines.
-Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform research design and identify gaps in nursing knowledge.
-Implement data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, observations, or clinical data extraction.
-Analyze research data using statistical methods and software.
-Interpret results, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on research findings.
-Prepare and submit research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
-Ensure research projects comply with ethical standards and institutional review board (IRB) requirements.
Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
