Ayble Health: Nurse Practitioner – part-time
About Us:
Ayble Health is transforming the way we care for chronic GI conditions such as IBS, GERD, Functional Dyspepsia, Crohn's Disease, and Ulcerative Colitis. Our mission is to help patients get better, faster by combining person-centered clinical care, behavior science, and intelligent technology with the support of a multidisciplinary care team.
Through telehealth visits, secure messaging, personalized nutrition and behavioral interventions, and data-driven insights, we help patients make meaningful, sustainable changes that improve both symptoms and quality of life. Our approach is truly one-size-fits-none.
Ayble's clinical model is backed by more than 15 clinical studies, including multiple randomized controlled trials published in leading gastroenterology journals. We are backed by leading venture capital firms, including early investors in Headspace, ClassPass, Venmo, Lyft, Bonobos, and Snap.
The Role:
We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (with the potential to transition to a full-time role). We're looking for passionate, patient-centered clinicians to deliver evidence-based, whole-person care to individuals living with chronic GI conditions.
As an Ayble Nurse Practitioner, you will serve as a core member of our multidisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians, registered dietitians, pharmacists, and behavioral health providers to help patients effectively manage their digestive health. Care is delivered virtually through Ayble's technology platform and designed to support patients longitudinally throughout their journey.
Our approach to digestive health combines medical management, nutrition, behavior change, and mind-gut interventions. In addition to providing clinical care, Nurse Practitioners play a central role in supporting patients between visits, helping them implement care plans, overcome barriers to success, build sustainable health behaviors, and remain engaged throughout their treatment journey. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy developing meaningful patient relationships and partnering with patients over time to drive lasting outcomes.
We welcome candidates from a variety of clinical backgrounds, including gastroenterology, primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, preventative medicine, obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine, and functional medicine. While prior experience treating digestive health conditions is beneficial, it is not required. Nurse Practitioners will have access to ongoing training, clinical resources, and support from our Integrated Care team to develop expertise in Ayble's evidence-based approach to managing chronic GI conditions.
In This Role, You Will:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of care providers to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.
Develop individualized care plans that may incorporate nutrition, behavioral health, supplementation, lifestyle modification, medication management, and other evidence-based interventions.
Evaluate patient symptoms and clinical progress, order and interpret laboratory testing when appropriate, and collaborate with supervising physicians on treatment planning and escalation of care.
Provide longitudinal support to patients through telehealth visits and asynchronous communication, helping patients implement care plans and achieve their health goals.
Utilize evidence-based communication and behavior change strategies to promote patient engagement, adherence, and self-management.
Adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines and best practices, including those established by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).
Coordinate care with patients' existing healthcare providers, including sharing clinical information and facilitating referrals or escalation of care when appropriate.
Deliver care virtually through Ayble's telehealth platform while maintaining high standards of clinical quality, patient engagement, and documentation.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of clinical workflows, patient education resources, and care protocols.
