About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Developer who can build and maintain responsive web interfaces using Angular and HTML, along with hands-on experience designing, coding, and tracking email newsletters. The ideal candidate understands both application development and the technical nuances of email marketing — rendering across email clients, tracking pixels, and open/click analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web application UI components using Angular (components, services, routing, forms)
- Write clean, semantic, and responsive HTML/CSS for web pages and email templates
- Design and code HTML newsletters/email templates compatible across major email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.)
- Implement and manage newsletter tracking — open rates, click-through rates (CTR), UTM parameters, tracking pixels
- Work with email service providers (ESPs) such as Mailchimp, SendGrid, HubSpot, or similar tools for campaign deployment
- Debug and fix rendering issues across different email clients and devices
- Collaborate with marketing/design teams to convert designs into functional newsletter templates
- Monitor and report newsletter performance metrics (opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes)
- Ensure compliance with email standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) where applicable
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Angular (components, modules, services, data binding)
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (including table-based layouts for email compatibility)
- Hands-on experience building and testing HTML email templates
- Knowledge of email tracking mechanisms — tracking pixels, UTM tagging, click tracking, open tracking
- Familiarity with at least one Email Service Provider (Mailchimp, SendGrid, Campaign Monitor, etc.)
- Understanding of responsive/mobile-friendly email design
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
Good to Have
- Experience with email testing tools (Litmus, Email on Acid)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools for campaign performance tracking
- Understanding of inline CSS and cross-client email rendering quirks
- Basic backend/API integration knowledge for dynamic email content
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail (email rendering breaks easily across clients)
- Good communication with design and marketing teams
- Ability to troubleshoot independently
