About The Role
The NetSuite Functional Consultant is in charge of comprehending the business processes of the company and the client/s they will be working with, and translating those business requirements to tailor the software to the organization's needs. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills are key for this role.
This is a part-time engagement (approximately 2 hours per day) suited for someone looking for flexible, focused project work rather than a full-time commitment.
Responsibilities
In this role you'll get to...
Support the implementation process including requirements analysis, system design, configuration, data conversion, user training, and lifecycle support of NetSuite software
Set up the system and configure it according to customer requirements
Work with technical support/resource for functional validation and testing
Assist customers with data conversions
Make recommendations to customers on new processes and capabilities
Coordinate with the project manager, technical resource, and the customer
Create written status reports only when needed
Contribute to the ongoing development of the team and implementation process
Help develop business requirements, specifications, process flows, application designs, configurations, testing, and deployments
Work directly with client/s on assigned project tasks and business process analysis
Provide functional support to the technical resource or client
Have product knowledge related to bill capture
Help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements
On day one we'll expect you to...
Have 2-4 years of experience analyzing business processes and mapping these to NetSuite functionality, mainly in the Manufacturing module (other NetSuite ERP modules are a plus)
Have strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP; SuiteAnalytics knowledge is a plus
Have proven experience in NetSuite's ERP modules, especially Manufacturing and intercompany processes
Have strong knowledge of software solutions, including installation, integration, and training
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with clients and translate functional requirements
Possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable within a limited daily schedule
Be comfortable managing a small number of concurrent priorities within part-time hours
Be able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
Have a fully functional and up-to-date computer to perform duties
Be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer
Be a current resident of the Philippines and able to legally perform work from there
Be available for a consistent 2-hour daily block, aligned to client/business needs (specific hours to be agreed upon; some overlap with US Pacific business hours preferred)
Be willing to undergo a 90-day probationary period upon initial hire
