Role Summary

We are looking for a Backend .NET Developer to build and test high-resilience, cloud-native services that power an enterprise Knowledge Graph for a global leader. In this role, you will leverage C#, ASP.NET Core, and Azure to build scalable publishing and query APIs, delivering governed, high-integrity product information with full data provenance (JSON-LD).

This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge Graph and AI ecosystems without needing prior specialization in ontologies or LLMs. Our Technical Lead and Data Engineering team will handle the graph architecture, data modeling, and query designs, allowing you to focus on robust backend engineering, clean API design, and modern AI-driven development practices (Cursor, Codex).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Build publishing and query components on Azure
• Integrate with graph, data platform, and external service interfaces
• Implement validation, logging, security controls, and automated tests
• Support deployment, documentation, and operational handover
• Collaborate with architecture, data engineering, DevOps, and QA
• Build a shared rules library used consistently by publishing and query services
• Implement guarded graph queries that refuse unsupported or prohibited responses (Guided)
• Produce validated JSON-LD and API responses with source and provenance information
• Create regression tests for publication rules, disclaimers, and other safety-critical behavior

Required Qualifications:

• Solid professional experience with C# and .NET development
• Experience building and testing ASP.NET Core APIs
• Experience with JSON and external system integrations
• Familiarity with cloud deployment and CI/CD
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with AI-Driven development tooling (Cursor and Codex)

Nice to have:

• Azure Functions or Container Apps experience
• Familiarity with Neo4j, Cypher, MCP, JSON-LD, or schema.org
• Experience in a regulated or consumer-products environment
