MongoDB DBA

 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and optimize MongoDB databases in production environments.
• Manage and support cloud-native databases including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Neptune, Google Bigtable, and Google Firestore.
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery readiness of database platforms.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support database-driven solutions.
• Troubleshoot database issues and implement proactive monitoring and automation.

 

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB DBA administration and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, Neptune, Bigtable, and Firestore.
• Experience working in AWS and/or GCP public cloud environments.
• Knowledge of database backup/recovery, replication, clustering, and security best practices.
• Good understanding of automation, scripting, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Preferred

• Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical enterprise applications.
