SMARTSOURCING USA is seeking a qualified Millwork & Counters Specialist to support the training and development of aspiring estimators and construction professionals.
This is a contractor role for someone who can independently deliver training, provide mentorship, and contribute subject matter expertise in architectural millwork, casework, countertops, and estimating practices.

Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Millwork & Counters Specialist or in a related architectural millwork or finish carpentry construction trade.
- Strong experience working on U.S.-based construction projects, with solid knowledge of U.S. standards, terminology, and workflows.
- Prior experience in training, mentoring, coaching, or a team lead capacity within the millwork, cabinetry, or countertop industry.
- Strong understanding of architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, commercial casework, countertops (laminate, solid surface, quartz, granite, marble, and other natural or engineered stone materials), finish carpentry, shop drawings, estimating principles, quantity takeoffs, fabrication methods, installation sequencing, and project coordination.
- Knowledge of U.S. construction standards, AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) Quality Standards, manufacturer specifications, material selection, fabrication processes, and industry best practices.
- Experience estimating commercial and/or residential millwork, cabinetry, casework, and countertop projects.
- Familiarity with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, blueprint reading, architectural drawings, millwork shop drawings, finish schedules, cabinetry details, and construction specifications.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a remote contractor setup.
- Professional, patient, and effective in guiding learners with varying skill levels.
