PROJECT OVERVIEW

Our client is building modern, cloud-native software solutions with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability. As part of a collaborative engineering team, you'll contribute to the development of backend services and RESTful APIs that power business-critical applications. Working alongside Product Owners, QA Engineers, and fellow Developers, you'll help deliver reliable, high-quality software while following modern engineering best practices and clean architecture principles.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and ASP.NET Core;

  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performing RESTful APIs;

  • Develop efficient data access layers using Dapper and Azure SQL Server;

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following SOLID principles and Clean Architecture;

  • Optimize SQL queries and application performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness;

  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions;

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment;

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives;

  • Contribute to automated testing by writing unit and integration tests.

IF YOU ARE

  • 3+ years of commercial experience developing applications with C# and ASP.NET Core;

  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and software design patterns;

  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs;

  • Good understanding of HTTP protocols, authentication, authorization, and API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI;

  • Strong hands-on experience with Dapper;

  • Experience working with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries;

  • Knowledge of joins, indexing, stored procedures, and query optimization techniques;

  • Experience writing unit and integration tests using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest;

  • Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools;

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail;

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an Agile team.

  • Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services;

  • Experience with Redis or distributed caching solutions;

  • Familiarity with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus;

  • Knowledge of CQRS, MediatR, and Clean Architecture;

  • Experience working with microservices-based architectures;

  • Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
