Mid Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines (SSIS)

• Design analytical data models (Data Warehouse, Data Marts)

• Develop cubes/tabular models in SSAS

• Build reporting solutions using Power BI and SSRS

• Optimize SQL Server queries and performance

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance

• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Support and mentor junior team members

Requirements

• Strong experience with SQL Server (advanced T-SQL, performance tuning)

• Hands-on experience with SSIS (ETL processes)

• Experience with SSAS (multidimensional or tabular models)

• Experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)

• Experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball methodology)

• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience in hybrid environments (on-premise + cloud)

• Knowledge of Azure tools (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse)

• Experience with CI/CD in data projects

• Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices
