As a Member of Technical Staff at Pythagoras AI, you'll help shape the core systems that power our empathetic voice AI platform. You'll work directly across product, design, data science, and clinical operations to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that redefine how care is delivered.

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience as a full-stack engineer

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern frameworks

• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeORM/Objection.js

• Understanding of AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Elastic Beanstalk)

• Experience designing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs

• Familiarity with Twilio or other voice/telephony APIs is a plus

• Knowledge of security, HIPAA compliance, and performance optimization

• Experience integrating LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and working with speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) services to build real-time conversational systems

• Familiarity with optimizing latency, accuracy, and context handling in multimodal voice AI pipelines
