The Medical Registration Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring an efficient registration process. This role is responsible for verifying patient information, insurance eligibility, collecting co-pays and deductibles, maintaining accurate records, and supporting scheduling, billing, and medical records requests. The specialist works collaboratively with patients, physicians, and internal departments to ensure a positive patient experience and smooth office operations.
Successful candidates possess excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. A strong understanding of insurance verification, patient registration procedures, and payment collection is essential.
