Develop LOD 400 structural models integrating CLT and Glulam systems into federated models. Model and coordinate structural connections, hardware, MEPF penetrations, openings, hangers, supplementary steel, and other interfaces while supporting clash detection and constructability coordination.
Work on a specialized Mass Timber project involving CLT, Glulam, structural connections, MEPF interfaces, and fabrication-level BIM modeling.
This is a 6-week freelance opportunity for an experienced Structural BIM professional who can contribute from day one in a fast-paced, international project environment.
Work on detailed Mass Timber structural models at LOD 400, integrating CLT and Glulam systems into federated models. You’ll model and coordinate structural connections, connection hardware, MEPF penetrations, openings, hangers, supplementary steel, and other structural interfaces while supporting clash detection and constructability coordination.
3+ years of experience in Structural BIM, structural detailing, or BIM production.
Hands-on experience with Mass Timber, CLT and/or Glulam.
Advanced Revit skills.
Experience with LOD 400 or fabrication-level structural modeling.
Experience modeling or detailing structural connections and connection hardware.
Experience with multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash resolution.
Ability to interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
Upper-intermediate English or higher. Daily communication in English is required.
Immediate availability.
Own computer/laptop.
Experience with Navisworks and federated model coordination.
Experience coordinating MEPF penetrations through structural elements.
Structural steel detailing experience.
Experience with knife plates, beam seats, anchors, fasteners, hangers, or similar timber connection hardware.
Experience with IFC, STEP, SAT, DWG, or CAD/CAM workflows.
Experience working on U.S.-based projects.
6-week freelance project.
Work on a specialized Mass Timber / CLT / Glulam project at LOD 400.
Remote opportunity across LATAM.
Collaborate with an international engineering and BIM team.
