About the Opportunity

As Marketing Executive/Manager for Japan, you'll be responsible for delivering the brands' global strategic multi-channel marketing plan within the Japan market with a strong focus on digital marketing and events. You'll drive client acquisition, retention, and growth by executing campaigns that resonate locally while aligning with our global brand standards.

We are looking for a hard-working individual who can combine creative and analytical thinking to implement strategic plans that deliver on the brand's objectives. Working remotely as part of our Asia marketing team, you'll be the local brand ambassador who brings the Japan market to life while collaborating closely with global and regional teams. This is an individual contributor role.

What You Will Do

• Align and execute global and local marketing strategies, plans and campaigns following brand guidelines
• Manage social media platforms (LinkedIn) creating content strategy to drive followers, acquisition and engagement
• Effectively manage digital and paid media campaigns with continuous testing, analyzing and reporting (supported by local agency)
• Manage and execute events and exhibitions with strong post-event follow-up and reporting
• Ensure global content is translated accurately, aligned to local nuance, and deployed into local digital channels
• Work closely with PR and Communications Manager on press releases, award submissions and speaking opportunities
• Assist with written content in Japanese for website, social media, and marketing materials
• Provide regional insights and recommendations to improve marketing initiatives based on competitor and market trends
• Monitor marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to forecasts
• Prepare and share monthly marketing performance reports with management
• Be the local brand ambassador, sharing market nuances with global and regional leaders

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or Business
• Proven track record in 360 marketing, lead generation and managing social media/web platforms (LinkedIn)
• Fluent in English and Japanese (written and verbal) with strong translation skills
• Strong analytical skills to interpret results, draw conclusions and provide recommendations
• Experience working remotely with teams based across Asia
• Self-motivated with ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail with ability to analyze and report on ROI
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
• Digital marketing and events management experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel preferred
