Role Objective
The Marketing Assistant provides content, research, and administrative support to the firm's marketing team. This role is uniquely suited for a bilingual professional with a background in immigration law — someone who understands the nuance of immigration processes and can ensure that all marketing content is accurate, appropriate, and compliant with legal standards. Working remotely from Latin America, the Marketing Assistant will support the day-to-day execution of content, campaigns, and community initiatives under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities/Duties
Draft, edit, and proofread marketing content across social media, email campaigns, newsletters, and the firm's website ensuring accuracy on all immigration-related topics.
Review marketing materials for legal accuracy and flag any content that may misrepresent immigration processes, timelines, or outcomes.
Translate and adapt content between English and Spanish, maintaining tone, accuracy, and cultural sensitivity.
Assist in the development and scheduling of social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn.
Conduct research on immigration law updates, community trends, and competitor marketing activity to inform content strategy.
Support email campaign creation including drafting copy, formatting, and scheduling.
Assist with editorial content for the firm's magazine, newsletter, and blog as directed.
Organize and maintain a content library of approved materials, templates, and assets.
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team including scheduling, reporting, and task tracking.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.
Requirements
Background in immigration law — paralegal experience, legal studies, or equivalent hands-on immigration law experience required.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
Strong writing and editing skills in both languages with high attention to detail.
Ability to identify and flag inaccurate or misleading immigration-related content.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional remote work setup.
Comfortable working with US-based teams across time zones.
Preferred
Prior experience in a marketing, content creation, or communications role.
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content scheduling tools.
Experience with Canva, HubSpot, or similar marketing platforms.
Prior experience supporting a US-based law firm or professional services organization remotely.
Compensation
$1,400 – $1,700 USD/month DOE | Remote in Latin America
