Market Analyst

About the role

INFINOX is looking for a Market Analyst to support the company with regular market commentary, website content, and media-facing market insights.

The role is focused on turning daily market developments into clear, accurate, and accessible commentary for traders, journalists, and wider audiences. The ideal candidate understands global financial markets and can explain market movements in simple commercial language, without providing trading signals or investment advice.

This is a content-driven market analysis role, not a trading, dealing, or portfolio management position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily market commentary on working days, including short technical analysis on selected key instruments such as FX pairs, gold, oil, indices, crypto, and other relevant markets.
• Prepare one daily fundamental market comment based on key macroeconomic events, central bank developments, market sentiment, or major price movements.
• Produce a weekly market overview covering the most important market themes of the week, suitable for the website, email, PR materials, and future video formats.
• Support INFINOX Market News, Fundamental Analysis, and Technical Analysis pages with clear and useful market content.
• Support the Global Media Hub by preparing market comments, talking points, and key messages for journalist requests.
• Provide market context around FX, commodities, indices, crypto, macroeconomic data, inflation, interest rates, central banks, and market volatility.
• Monitor key market developments and identify relevant topics for commentary and PR opportunities.
• Work closely with the marketing, content, PR, and external agency teams to ensure all market commentary is accurate, timely, and aligned with the INFINOX brand.

Requirements

• CFA Level II candidate or higher, or an equivalent professional qualification in financial markets, investment analysis, or macroeconomic research.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets, including FX, commodities, indices, crypto, and macroeconomics.
• Good understanding of both fundamental and technical analysis.
• Knowledge of MetaTrader, trading platforms, and CFD products.
• Experience creating market commentary, financial content, market reports, or analysis.
• Excellent written English and the ability to explain complex market topics clearly and simply.
• Ability to work with daily deadlines and deliver consistent output on working days.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a brokerage, fintech, trading, financial media, or investment-related company.
• CMT qualification, or proven advanced technical analysis experience, would be a strong advantage for candidates expected to produce more advanced technical analysis content.
• Experience supporting PR teams or responding to journalist/media requests.
• Comfortable supporting video content or appearing on camera in the future.
