We are seeking a strategic, results-driven leader to join GrayMatter as Manager, PMO. This senior-level role is responsible for leading the Project Management Office (PMO), driving enterprise-wide project governance, and ensuring the successful execution of GrayMatter’s project portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in project and change management within solutions/services-based organizations, with a strong background in automation systems integration. 
  
Key Responsibilities 
  • Lead and evolve the PMO in alignment with organizational strategy and business objectives.  
  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure PMO goals support the broader company vision.  
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized project management methodologies, processes, tools, and templates across the organization.  
  • Oversee project portfolios to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.  
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical project risks, issues, and resolution strategies.  
  • Drive organizational change management initiatives, fostering adoption of best practices and minimizing resistance.  
  • Establish and monitor PMO and project performance metrics (KPIs), delivering regular progress, performance, and risk reports to senior leadership.  
  • Coach, mentor, and develop project managers and coordinators to elevate project execution capabilities.  
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to project delivery processes, tools, and operational efficiency.  
  • Research, evaluate, and integrate project management technologies that enhance delivery capabilities.  
  • Champion innovation by introducing new methodologies and approaches that advance project management excellence. 
 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.  
  • 10+ years of progressive project management experience.  
  • Minimum 5–7 years of leadership experience within a solutions/services-based organization.  
  • Proven expertise in automation systems integration engineering and project management.  
  • Demonstrated success leading a PMO or equivalent strategic project function.  
  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices.  
  • Strong strategic planning, leadership, and organizational development capabilities.  
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.  
  • Proven ability to drive change management initiatives and organizational adoption.  
  • Highly self-motivated, with a strong focus on growth, operational excellence, and team development. 
 
The target annual base compensation for this position is $150,000 - $175,000, based upon relevant qualifications and work location.
