Description

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a real impact? We’re seeking a Management Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the business.

As our Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and timely management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and delivering financial insights that help shape business strategy.


What you will do?

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts in line with company deadlines
  • Monitor financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary
  • Partner with department heads to drive cost control and operational efficiency
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and board packs
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and internal controls
  • Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior management


Who you are

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a management accounting role (UK-based preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Clear communicator with the ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable:
  • Experience in professional services or the legal industry
