Position: Logistics Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team. As a Logistics Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the movement of goods and materials between our suppliers, warehouses, and customers. This is a full-time, remote position with the opportunity for growth within our rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and track shipments from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers

- Communicate with suppliers, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and update inventory systems as needed

- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excesses

- Assist with the development and implementation of logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs

- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any logistics-related issues or delays

- Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes and procedures

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus

- 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures is preferred

- Experience with remote work is a plus
