We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to join a skilled infrastructure team responsible for the stability, security, and performance of Linux-based systems across physical and virtual environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams, acting as a key technical resource for system optimization, troubleshooting, and infrastructure improvements. This is a hands-on role where you will have direct ownership of critical systems that power our business operations.

Here you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to global technological progress while at the same time advancing your own skills and career.

This is you

  • You are a skilled Intermediate Linux Administrator with 3–5 years of hands-on enterprise-level experience in managing Linux/Unix environments.

  • You have a deep mastery of Linux operating systems, including kernel tuning, file system management (LVM, RAID), and advanced command-line proficiency.

  • You have hands-on experience with Puppet as a configuration management tool - which is mandatory for this role.

  • You possess strong networking and operational infrastructure knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP/email services, NTP, IP routing, and/or OS-level firewall configuration.

  • You are proficient in automating routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.

  • You are familiar with Git and GitFlow-based processes for managing and versioning infrastructure and configuration changes.

  • You are proactive about system health, security, and performance, and you thrive in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

  • You take ownership of system stability and security, and you enjoy working collaboratively to drive continuous improvement.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure

  • Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

  • Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm

  • Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect

This is your role

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix-based servers in both physical and virtual environments, ensuring system stability, reliability, and optimal performance.

  • Monitor system health (CPU, memory, storage, network usage) and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

  • Implement and maintain security hardening standards, manage user access and permissions, and ensure timely patching and vulnerability remediation.

  • Manage and execute regular backup procedures, and maintain and test disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity.

  • Participate in on-call support for business-critical infrastructure if required.
