QA Manual Test Engineer - AA, Remote: Colombia - Costa Rica, Fulltime

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Mid-Level QA Manual Test Engineer, who will work with a team of software developers to assess software quality through manual testing. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, documentation, coordinating, and executing testing activities
• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications, including acceptance criteria
• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports
• Perform testing for usability and functionality on multiple products
• Build and perform manual regression test to validate releases
• Help to troubleshoot issues, identify, and log bug defects
• Ability to work with some supervision and be detailed oriented
• Work with Developers, Product Owner, and Scrum Masters to solve any issues

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester (Web and mobile applications)
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and testing management tools
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing
• Experience with tools to manually test REST services such as Postman or Curl
• Must be detail orientated and a passion for QA testing
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and experience as an Agile team member

• Experience executing QA testing within AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud
• Accessibility testing
• Mobile testing
