Legal Consultant - Intellectual Property, SEA

We are currently on the lookout for Legal Consultants with Intellectual property experience at various levels of experience to join our ranks and support our global Fortune 500 client:

Key Responsibilities:   

• Develop, review and update regional brand protection and IP policies, internal SOPs, and education materials for users and rights holders.
• Manage and resolve high‑impact local brand/IP disputes and incidents across relevant products and services, including investigations and remediation.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to manage external relationships with brands, industry associations, law enforcement and regulators on brand/IP issues
• Monitor brand/IP legal and industry developments in key markets and translate them into practical guidance, tools and processes for the business.
• Provide brand/IP training and day‑to‑day advisory support; work autonomously where senior, or focus on accurate review and vetting of documents and rationale where more junior.

Requirements

• 4-10(+) years post‑qualification experience in IP/technology or brand protection. Open to different levels of experience.
• Strong knowledge of trademark and/or copyright laws and IP enforcement practices in the relevant region (ideally SG/SEA) is preferred
• IP related policy work / IP brand protection work (policies, takedowns, disputes, rights‑holder interactions would be an asset
