About the role
As Legal & Claims Manager for the Belgian market, you'll be the go-to person for all legal and claims matters related to both markets: a high-impact, autonomous role with a wide variety of responsibilities from day one.
Key responsibilities
Legal
Draft and maintain cyber insurance policies for the Belgian market
Negotiate and manage distribution partnerships (co-broking, agents, risk carriers)
Work closely with the Product and Tech teams to adapt contracts and documentation to the Stoïk app
Occasionally, support the NL market launch alongside core BE responsibilities
Claims management
Handle cyber claims (cyber fraud, ransomware, liability…)
Produce claims reporting for risk carriers
Requirements
Must-haves
Experience drafting insurance contracts
Proven experience in claims management (insurance company, litigation or equivalent)
Strong autonomy: you can take ownership of a topic end-to-end without hand-holding
Knowledge of Belgian insurance law
Fluent in English & Dutch
Nice to have
Fluent in French
Background in cyber insurance
