Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in Australian residential property management or leasing.
• Strong understanding of the Australian residential leasing process.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience using Australian property management software will be highly regarded
• Willingness to undergo a background check

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. The successful candidate will support the team with the day-to-day processing of rental applications and assist with the end-to-end leasing process across a portfolio of residential properties. This role is ideal for someone with previous Australian residential property or leasing experience who is confident in communicating with prospective tenants and comfortable making outbound phone calls.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the end-to-end leasing process, from tenant enquiry through to application and approval.
• Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
• Review applications and follow up with prospective tenants for any outstanding or additional information.
• Make outbound calls to prospective tenants to clarify information and progress applications.
• Respond to leasing enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Liaise with prospective tenants throughout the application and leasing process.
• Coordinate with Property Managers and other team members to ensure applications progress smoothly.
• Assist with arranging property inspections and open homes where required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all leasing documentation is completed correctly.
• Provide regular updates to the Property Management team on the status of applications.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to prospective tenants and clients.
• Provide general administrative support to the Property Management team as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Australian residential property management or leasing.
• Strong understanding of the Australian residential leasing process.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience communicating with prospective tenants and handling enquiries.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
