About Crimson Global Academy

Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is a world-leading online school with students in more than 30 countries and a teaching staff drawn predominantly from New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Every one of our teachers is a subject expert, and our strong pastoral care network ensures students learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

Students at CGA study at a level that matches their academic competence rather than their age, which means a significant proportion of our cohort is working ahead of their peer group. Combined with curriculum flexibility, cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to accelerate, CGA offers an unusually rich environment for students with the drive to excel. Our academic results speak for themselves.

About Emi

Emi is a live, teacher-led online primary school for students aged 6–11, powered by Crimson Global Academy. Small-group classes (capped at 8), expert educators, and thoughtful technology, with differentiation at the foundation of everything we do.

The Role

The Lead Teacher is the instructional anchor of Emi North. You'll carry a full teaching load, coach fellow teachers, and be a key point of contact for families, working closely with the Principal. It suits a strong classroom teacher ready to lead from within. Fully remote, but requires working Pacific Time hours.

What You'll Do

  • Teach group and one-to-one classes across the cohort (English, Mathematics, Innovation, Enrichment), modeling Emi's instructional framework (Spark, Discover, Create) and keeping the program coherent week to week.

  • Lead the team as instructional lead, observe and coach colleagues, run clean student handoffs, and be their first point of contact for delivery questions.

  • Partner with families, answer questions with warmth and clarity, guide them through the Emi model and any changes, and resolve issues independently, escalating to the Principal when needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced primary teacher with strong classroom presence, confident with both small groups and one-to-one

  • Gives honest, trust-building feedback to colleagues

  • Calm and solutions-oriented with families, listens, responds clearly, de-escalates

  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-evolving school environment

  • Excited by online education, and able to work full-time on Pacific Time hours

We look forward to hearing from you!
