As a Lead Java Full Stack Developer at Emergn you will build scalable, high-performance Java applications. You design, develop and maintain complex, scalable, high-performance Java applications. You will provide technical leadership and make sure deliverables align with best practices and business requirements.

We want you to:
Provide technical leadership in designing, coding, testing and deploying Java-based applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, architecture and delivery timelines.
Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Mentor other developers and facilitate knowledge sharing.
This job might be for you if you have:
8+ years of experience in Java development focused on high-performance applications, with strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Experience with RESTful API development and front-end technologies such as Angular and React, with solid Angular experience.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), including AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, AWS Technical Essentials and AWS Solutions Architect Essentials.
Knowledge of observability and New Relic, including New Relic Observability Foundations and Observability Practitioner.
Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven experience in technical leadership, project management and agile methodologies, with clear communication of technical solutions.
Claude Code experience and an agentic mindset.
You might also have:
Experience in microservices architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps practices.
Advanced knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL).
