Lead Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer
Location- Remote
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Guidewire ClaimCenter integrations within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, integration architecture, commercial insurance systems, and enterprise application development.
The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across multiple delivery and support teams, ensure platform stability and scalability, and collaborate closely with business, architecture, product, and delivery stakeholders to support commercial insurance and reinsurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of Guidewire ClaimCenter integrations and services.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple development and maintenance teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Product teams to estimate, plan, and deliver technical initiatives.
- Own and support Guidewire ClaimCenter production environments, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and SLA adherence.
- Design and govern integrations with Policy Administration, Billing, Financial, CRM systems, third-party vendors, and external bureaus.
- Develop and maintain scalable API-driven and event-driven integration solutions.
- Implement and enforce CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, code quality checks, and secure deployment practices.
- Establish and manage branching strategies to support parallel development and release management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment models, sequence diagrams, and production support runbooks.
- Monitor application performance and system availability across application, network, and infrastructure layers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, incidents, data fixes, and system enhancement requests.
- Define and enforce engineering standards related to logging, monitoring, security, deployment, and integration best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to platform performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7 years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter integration and configuration development experience.
- Strong experience leading end-to-end Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations within Commercial Insurance environments.

- Strong understanding of system monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Insurance Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
- Strong experience in Commercial Insurance domain.
- Experience working with claims processing, policy systems, billing systems, and enterprise insurance integrations.
Leadership & Delivery Skills
- Proven experience leading teams of 10–20 engineers across onsite/offshore delivery models.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and technical workstreams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Certifications
- Guidewire ClaimCenter ACE Certification is required.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire Cloud migration experience.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience in commercial insurance and reinsurance operations.
- Financial planning, budgeting, and resource forecasting experience.
- Exposure to secure software engineering and DevSecOps best practices.
