WHAT YOU’LL DO

We're looking for an Lead Designer to lead a brand-new, dedicated creative team supporting a global enterprise B2B technology client. In this role, you'll establish the visual standards, creative systems, and team workflows that power a high-volume, multi-channel content program. You'll lead and mentor designers and motion designers while partnering closely with strategy, production, editing, and account teams to deliver exceptional creative that balances consistency, scalability, and innovation.

Set the Creative Vision
Establish and maintain the creative standard across static design, display advertising, email, HTML5 banners, motion, and digital campaigns, ensuring every deliverable reflects premium craft and brand excellence.

Lead and Inspire the Team
Manage, mentor, and develop designers and motion designers through thoughtful creative direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing coaching that helps the team do its best work.

Build Creative Systems That Scale
Develop design systems, templates, workflows, review processes, and quality standards that enable consistent, high-quality creative production across multiple campaigns.

Direct Creative Execution
Translate client brand guidelines and campaign objectives into compelling visual concepts, storyboards, and creative direction that resonate across digital platforms.

Champion Brand Excellence
Ensure creative work remains cohesive, platform-appropriate, and aligned with brand standards while continually raising the quality of the team's output.

Collaborate Across Disciplines
Partner closely with Video Editors, Motion Designers, Copywriters, Creative Strategists, Project Managers, and Account teams to bring integrated campaigns from concept through execution.

Work Smarter with AI
Leverage AI-assisted creative tools and scalable workflows where they improve efficiency, while applying thoughtful creative judgment to deliver polished, brand-right work.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 6+ years of experience in art direction, digital design, or creative leadership within an agency or fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing creative teams while fostering collaboration and creative growth.
  • A portfolio showcasing exceptional work across digital campaigns, display advertising, design systems, email, and motion storyboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to direct motion design and collaborate effectively with animation teams.
  • Experience building scalable creative systems, templates, workflows, and production processes.
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, branding, visual storytelling, and digital design best practices.
  • Ability to translate brand guidelines into elevated, platform-specific creative that feels thoughtful and original.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, builder mindset with enthusiasm for shaping new processes, teams, and ways of working.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience supporting enterprise technology, SaaS, or B2B brands.
  • Experience leading large-scale display advertising or HTML5 banner programs.
  • Background in performance marketing or agency creative environments.
  • Experience designing for SaaS platforms, digital products, or UI-driven brands.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and workflows.

Salary Range: $73,000 - $85,000

The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate's qualifications and experience uniquely.
