Lead Data Analyst

Data Analyst duties and responsibilities

Data Analysts collect data, such as sales numbers or market research, to help companies make the right decisions. After gathering all relevant information, these professionals extract insights from the vast amount of collected data through statistical and analytical techniques that detect patterns and trends. Data Analysts also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and help them develop tools for collecting, organizing and analyzing information.

Skilled at designing and maintaining databases and data systems, Data Analysts ensure informational accuracy and integrity, generate reports and visualizations for stakeholders and help leadership with strategic planning based on the insights gleaned from their work.

This work encompasses several duties and responsibilities, including:

• Consulting with executives and other business leaders to identify improvement opportunities
  
• Creating reports for internal teams, external clients and/or stakeholders
  
• Collaborating with team members to collect and analyze data
  
• Visualizing data with graphs, infographics and other methods
  
• Understanding of Zoho and fundamentals
  
• Creates dashboards and visualizing analytics
  
• Assisting with managed IT services for clients
  
• Help clients with web development needs​
  
• Establishing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  
• Structuring large data sets to find usable information
  
• Processing information with a team of analysts and other associates
  
• Crafting presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
