Role Overview

As a Lead Blockchain Engineer at Holitix, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge Web3 solutions for startups, enterprises, and emerging digital ecosystems. You will lead blockchain architecture initiatives, mentor engineering teams, and build scalable decentralized applications, smart contracts, tokenization platforms, DeFi protocols, and multi-chain infrastructure that power the future of Web3.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of blockchain-based products and infrastructure

• Design and develop secure smart contracts, dApps, tokenization solutions, and DeFi protocols

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and blockchain integrations

• Architect multi-chain solutions across Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche, and other ecosystems

• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and reliability of blockchain applications

• Conduct smart contract reviews, testing, and security best-practice implementation

• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering standards

• Stay current with emerging blockchain technologies and industry trends

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in blockchain development

• Strong expertise in Solidity, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and modern backend architectures

• Deep understanding of EVM-compatible chains, smart contracts, wallets, token standards, and blockchain protocols

• Experience building production-grade DeFi, NFT, RWA, tokenization, or Web3 infrastructure platforms

• Strong knowledge of smart contract security, auditing practices, testing frameworks, and monitoring tools

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable application architecture

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Layer 2 solutions and multi-chain ecosystems

• Knowledge of Rust, Solana, Move, or other emerging blockchain technologies

• Experience with staking, governance, token launches, vesting, and treasury management systems

• Familiarity with Web3 security tools, MPC wallets, account abstraction, and wallet infrastructure

• Experience leading engineering teams in startup or high-growth environments

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
