Key duties include coordinating workforce development initiatives, improving food security, and strengthening local capacity to influence education and health policies.

Save the Children

For over 100 years, Save the Children has been fighting for the rights of children. The right to a healthy start in life. To have access to education. To be in a safe environment, protected from harm. We work in some of the world’s hardest-to-reach places – over 100 countries, including the U.S. No matter what your role is, when you join Save the Children, you’re creating positive, irreversible change for children, and the future we all share.

The Role

As the Lead Associate, Community Impact, you’ll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. You will drive integrated strategies that help vulnerable children and families achieve brighter futures, with a particular emphasis on rural communities. You will lead community engagement efforts; build and sustain cross‑sector partnerships among schools, employers, workforce and food access organizations; and convene local working groups to identify gaps in education, workforce, and basic‑needs. Through assessments, community‑driven planning, advocacy, outreach, training, and technical assistance, you will strengthen local capacity and cultivate durable collaborations that ensure children and families have the academic, economic, and nutritional supports needed to thrive.
