Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role 

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for Kaituruki - Tutors in Law to join and support Te Kauhanganui Tātai Ture - Faculty of Law LAWS111’s intensive summer offering on a fixed-term, part-time contract. 

Tutorials are online via Zoom and cannot be postponed; an important part of this job is working with the teaching team to make sure that all tutorials are covered.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate discussion and skills practice aligned to weekly materials.   
• Keep your group on schedule in an intensive delivery.   
• Deliver tutorials in the scheduled Zoom windows; coordinate with the team to ensure coverage. 

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will be a current or recent teaching contributor, confident delivering online tutorials, reliable in an intensive timetable, and comfortable using Zoom and Nuku.

Key requirements:

• Prior teaching involvement in LAWS121/122/123. 
• Confident online facilitation.
• Reliable under time pressure.   
• Comfortable with using Nuku and Zoom.
